In August, 2008 CJSC «STEEL-Trade» decided to create in Nikolsoe City, Tosnenskii Region, Leningrad Oblast the largest servicing metal centre in Northwest Russia. For this purpose a piece of land(6ha) was bought and another 3ha and 4ha were leased with the subsequent buyout. This territory is used for creation our own industrial base, the distinctive feature of which will be a full service cycle, beginning with production of metalware, storage of rolled section steel and steel shapes, reinforcement rods and sheets, cleaning, cutting, straightening and fininshing with own quick shipment and delivery of metal in a proper place.

Planned turnover of metal-roll is up to 500 000 tons a year.

Annual volume of metalware for the building and machine-building enterprises, road and bridge construction is planned up to 10 000 tons (only at the initial stage).

At present approximate cost of the project is 3,5 billion rub.
New Servecing Metal Centre and a building of production metalware allows CJSC «STEEL-Trade» to expand company’s sphere of activity and it will give the ability, having created own material-technical base, effectively to enter the construction market of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

The plan of the territory and preliminary project of placing of manufacturing capacities.
The industrial-warehouse complex (6,2 + 3 hectares) will include:
On 6.2 ha: (1) – servicing metal centre (18 000 sq. m, among them (1a) – servicing metal base, 16 000 sq. m, (1b) – the shop of cutting of small constructions, 2 000 sq.);
(2) – reinforcement shop (1 430 sq.);
(3) – hardware shop (9 700 sq.);
(4) – the shop of finished production (3 600 sq.).
On 3 ha: (1)– industrial building with personal service rooms;
(2) — power(-generating) unit;
(3) – check point;
(4) – the territory of diesel generator with containers of fuel.
The total square of buildings is 17 000 m2.
Now we examine different variants for construction of the rest 3 ha and we are open to any suggestions concerning their complex equipment. Functionally this territory should supplement the processes that take place in servicing metal centre and the shop of hardware.
On 4 ha there will be a motor transport enterprise which already has 50 units and in the nearest future the amount of cars will increase up to 300 units.
